About The Program

Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education Merit Scholarship 2022 is an initiative y the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education for meritorious students who have scored more than 80% marks in class 10 and 12 board examinations. A total of 600 scholarships will be disbursed under this scholarship programme. The selected candidates will receive variable awards.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must be-

  • Domicile of the state of Himachal Pradesh 
  • Have passed class 10 and 12 (Science, Arts, Commerce)
  • Have scored at least 80% marks in board examination
Benefits

Under this scholarship program, a total of 600 scholarships will be disbursed by the H.P. Board. The selected scholars will receive variable awards.

How can you apply?

Follow the steps below to apply for the scholarship:

Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button and read all details carefully.
Step 2: Download the application form.
Step 3: Fill in the scholarship form, get it attested by the school principal/headmaster.
Step 4: Upload the scanned copy of the form on the official website and send the hard copy of the duly filled and attested form must be sent to the below address -

Selection Criteria

The candidates will be selected based on the following criteria - 

  • 400 meritorious students will be selected for the scholarship based on class 10 examination results.
  • 100 meritorious students will be selected from the Science group based on class 12 examination results.
  • 100 meritorious students will be selected from the Arts, Commerce group based on class 12 examination results.

Terms and Conditions
  • The school principal/headmaster should carefully check the student's eligibility before attesting to the scholarship form.
  • Except for merit cum means, SC/ST, backward classes, the general category students will be eligible for only a single scholarship.
  • The applications should reach the board before 15th November.
  • The scholarship form should be attested by the concerned/recognized School Headmaster/Headmistress/Principal along with the photograph.
