- If an applicant enters the age as "21 and under" for the competition or is a student, the organisation may ask for proof of age or student status later as part of the entry.
- There is no entry fee for the Junior category.
- For the Senior category, the entry fee is GBP 10 (GBP 5 for those with student ID).
- The entries will be accepted up to midnight of 8th July.
- Entries can only be submitted online.
- Entrants should submit their stories (in .pdf or .docx format).
- The length of the story should range between 1,500 and 5,000 words.
- Double quotation marks should be used for speech while single quotation marks should be used for other appropriate purposes.
- Applicants should make sure that they do not have their name or address anywhere in their uploaded document. The committee will judge all entries as “blind”. So, including any name or address will invalidate the entries.
- All submissions should be the writer’s original work.
