About The Program

Heriot Watt University, UK invites applications for Heriot Watt University New Carbon Economy in Valuation of Energy Projects 2020 from PhD candidates. This project aims to devise a project valuation and decision framework that incorporates the dynamics of the new carbon economy. Selected researchers will receive tuition fees and an annual stipend of approximately GBP 15,009 for the 36-month duration of the project.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • Be from the UK, EU and overseas
  • Be interested in a PhD research project related to PhD Petroleum Engineering
  • Have completed a postgraduate degree
  • Be proficient in the English language with an overall IELTS score of at least 6.5 (with no component scoring less than 6.0) or a TOEFL score of minimum 90 points

The selected scholars will receive tuition fees and an annual stipend of approximately GBP 15,009 for the 36-month duration of the project.
