About The Program

Guildhall School of Music & Drama GREAT Scholarships 2023 is a scholarship opportunity offered by the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign. The scholarship will be offered to both Indian and Mexican postgraduate candidates applying to MA Collaborative Theatre Production & Design course. The candidates will be able to get early-career theatre work experience to brush up their skills and knowledge. Both Indian and Mexican candidates will receive a minimum of £10,000 to cover their educational expenses related to the course.

To be eligible, an applicant must –

  • be a citizen of India or Mexico
  • have a valid passport of their respective countries
  • have an upper second class honours undergraduate degree
  • have secured a minimum score of 7 in the IELTS Academic Training examination
  • hold an offer/ invitation to study at the Guildhall School
Benefits

Candidates will receive £10,000 for a year to provide the cost of tuition fees or any one-year taught Master’s degree offered at the Guildhall School.

How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the position using the steps listed below -
Step 1: Click the ‘Apply Now’ button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note - If already registered, log in using the registered email Id.)
Step 3: Navigate to the ‘Submit MA Collaborative Theatre Production & Design’ button and click on it.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
Step 5: Select the ‘Level of Study’ as Postgraduate (Masters/2nd cycle) and click on the ‘Proceed’ tab.
Step 6: Select the ‘MA Collaborative Theatre Production & Design’ program and click again on the ‘Proceed’ tab.
Step 7: Navigate to the ‘Create a New User’ option down the dashboard and click on the ‘New User’ tab. (Note – Existing users can use their credentials to log in directly.)
Step 8: Fill in all the details and click on the ‘Create User’ tab.
Step 9: Follow the instructions and provide the necessary details to complete the application.

Important Dates

Application Start Date – 20th February 2023
Application End Date – 5th April 2023

Selection Criteria

Candidates will be shortlisted based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria. 
 

Terms and Conditions
  • Candidates must hold an offer letter to start a one-year full-time master’s course.
  • Candidates must take the English language test before applying to the course. The deadline is till mid-April.
  • Candidates must submit their language proficiency certificate before applying to the course.

Note – Test results can often take several weeks to be released. In such cases, candidates need to plan their tests well in advance.
