- All applications must be made through the online scholarships web form by midnight of the published closing date. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered.
- Students awarded the scholarship will be notified in writing by the date specified above. The award of this scholarship is at the discretion of the selection panel.
- An offer of admission must have been received in order to be eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- This scholarship is only available to students domiciled in India who have overseas student status and paying overseas tuition fees.
- Valid for September 2016 entry only.
- Students receiving this discount will not be eligible for any additional scholarships or discounts other than the £500 full payment discount. If a student is also eligible for another scholarship, other than the £500 full payment discount, he or she will only receive the higher value scholarship.
- DMU will deduct the value of the scholarship from the full academic course tuition fee at enrolment. The value of the scholarship will be deducted from the first, or only, year of study. If the student is also entitled to the £500 discount for early payment of their fees in full at enrolment, this discount will be added to the amount deducted.
- Most full time undergraduate degrees, (BA/BSc/LLB), masters courses (PGDip/MA/MSc/MBA/LLM) and MPhil/PhD research degrees (except the International PhD programme) are eligible for this scholarship with the exceptions in the list below.
- Distance learning and part time students are not eligible for this scholarship.
- No cash alternatives will be offered and the scholarship cannot be transferred to another recipient.
- Only self-funded students are entitled to apply for this scholarship.
- The scholarship will be forfeited if the student defers entry, withdraws his or her application or does not enrol. If a student is found to be in breach of his or her commitments, in any way not acted in good faith, or not responded fully or accurately to a university request for information, the university is entitled to immediately suspend a scholarship.
- The university reserves the right to revoke the scholarship if a student subsequently leaves before completing the programme.
- The university reserves the right to withdraw or not award scholarships or discounts at any point before they are allocated.
- The university reserves the right to vary or withdraw this scholarship at its sole discretion but changes will not be applied retrospectively.
- By accepting this award, the student also accepts to participate in any university publicity or promotion as required.
