To be eligible for the challenge, an applicant must -
- Be a bachelor's (at least second year) or master's student
- Be studying Engineering, Business, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics or other Sciences
- Have proficiency in the English language.
- Apply exclusively in teams of two, of which at least one team member is female
(Note: Both the teammates should be studying in the same region for the duration of the competition)

Selection Criteria
SELECTION PROCESS:
Stage 1: Regional Semi-finals - Online selection of up to 70 teams (10 - 15 teams chosen per Region) by Schneider Electric regional juries based on the following criteria: innovativeness, feasibility, presentation quality and sustainable impact.
Stage 2: Mentoring Phase - The selected teams will be mentored by Schneider Electric experts via the competition platform
Stage 3: Regional Finals - The juries from Schneider Electric’s offices will be selecting the best project from each region for the Grand Finale in Spain
Stage 4: Grand Finale - Top teams are invited to attend the Schneider Electric Innovation Summit in Barcelona!
Terms and Conditions
Challenge details:
- The applicants need to solve any of the case challenges relating to real life or submit an innovative idea for ensuring efficient energy management in the city environment
- The proposals should be submitted in the form of a PowerPoint Presentation of 10 slides including problem statement, differentiation, operational availability, team profile, etc.
- The four categories for which applicants can submit an idea are: Sustainability & Access to Energy, Buildings of the Future, Plants of the Future, and Grids of the Future.
