About The Program

Global Youth Video Competition on Climate Change 2018 invites applications from candidates aged between 18 and 30 years. The objective of the competition is to encourage people to take part in activities to fight climate change.

  • Applicant should be aged between 18 and 30 years.
Benefits

Global Youth Video Competition 2018 provides - 

  • Round-trip travel to the 24th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 24) in Katowice, Poland, in December 2018
  • An opportunity to work as a youth reporter, assisting the UN Climate Change team with videos, articles and social media posts. 
How can you apply?

Step 1: Applicant can click here to enter the competition. 
Step 2: Fill in all required details and click on 'Send'. 
Step 3: Send a 3-minute video to biomovies@tve.org.uk using the WeTransfer website.

Terms and Conditions
  • Video must be maximum of three minutes.
  • Video must be in English language or have English subtitles.

Note: Applicants should make sure that any music or audio used in their video is license free or they have acquired a license to use. 

  • The applicants can participate in the competition in two categories: 
    • Responsible production & consumption
    • Green and climate-friendly jobs
  • One winner will be selected under each category through public voting.
