About The Program

Oxford University Press India invites applications for the Global Academic Publishing Internship Programme 2018 from the graduate students. This is a paid internship program of eight week-period and aims to provide an opportunity to the graduates to experience the work and life at a leading university press. The functional areas of this programme are Commisioning, Editorial, Marketing, Sales, Demand Planning and Production.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must-

  • Be a graduate with an excellent academic background.
  • Be adaptable to new situations.
  • Have dynamic and fresh outlook.
  • Have excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Have the ability to perform well under pressure and restricted deadlines.
  • Have the ability to manage projects independently.

Note- An applicant belonging to social sciences, humanities, management, commerce or sciences (including medicine) is recommended.

Ponts to consider-

  • The selection committee of Oxford University Press will select the candidates for the interview stage.
  • The single interview may be done either in person or via Skype or video conferencing.
  • The selected candidates will be then informed by the email about the date of joining and other details.
  • The successful candidates will work on a range of activities for the eight-week period on six functional areas i.e. Commisioning, Editorial, Marketing, Sales, Demand Planning and Production.
  • The internship period for different functional areas will be different.
