About The Program
The Georg Arnhold Senior Fellowship 2027 is offered by the Leibniz Institute for Educational Media |Georg Eckert Institute (GEI). Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of EUR 3,300 for a 6-month research stay at the institute in Brunswick, Germany, along with return economy airfare and administrative support.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be an outstanding scholar in the humanities, political and social sciences, education sciences, or law, with a project firmly located in the field of peace education, OR
- be a distinguished practitioner in the field of peace education with high-level international experience in areas such as journalism, government, or NGO management
- have at least 5 years of advanced professional experience in the area of peace education
- have outstanding academic or professional achievements in their field
Note:- Applicants should ideally combine scholarly excellence with practical experience and demonstrate exceptional impact in their work.
Benefits
The selected fellow will receive a monthly stipend of EUR 3,300 (approx. ₹3,37,418) for six months, round-trip economy airfare to Germany, and administrative and publication support from the program coordinators.

Terms and Conditions
- Fellows must carry out work in education for sustainable peace, preferably with a focus on educational media, curriculum development, and transforming societies.
- Fellows must spend their fellowship period at the Leibniz Institute for Educational Media | GEI in Brunswick, Germany, and participate in the daily working life of the institute.
- Project outcomes must be published no later than one year after fellowship termination.
