Gandhian Young Technological Innovation - SRISTI Awards 2019 is an innovation award which invites applications from young technological students to celebrate the spirit of student innovation in Engineering, Science and Technology.
Gandhian Young Technological Innovation - SRISTI Awards 2019
DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible for the award, a candidate must -
- Be an Indian citizen.
- Be an undergraduate or postgraduate in any stream of Engineering, Science and Technology.
Benefits The awards are given under the following categories -
- MLM (More from less for many), Frugal Innovation award- ideas that economise on the use of material are extremely affordable and sustainable.
- SRISTI Social Technological Award- projects who signified the concept and having originality & uniqueness.
- Technological Edge Award- demonstrable technological advance in any domain of engineering, pharmacy, medical or other disciples.
- BIRAC-SRISTI award of biotechnological/medical/healthcare innovation- selected 15 innovations may be given a grant of INR 15 lakh each, another 20-30 idea may granted INR 1 lakh for taking their idea forward.
How can you apply? Eligible candidates can submit their entries by following the mentioned steps -

Step 2: Fill in all the required details and submit.
Step 3: Login using the user id and password to submit the entries online.
Terms and Conditions
- The full project report of the shortlisted projects will be needed for final evaluation. Videos, photographs, test reports in that domain, literature & patent review etc must be attached
- The abstract of the submitted entries will be included in www.techpdia.in database with due acknowledgment of the name of the team members, supervisor, college department and any contact information provided.
- The prototype may be retained or request for display in the permanent exhibition likely to be developed soon at the national level with due acknowledgment of the name of the team members, supervisor, college, department and any contact information provided.
- The nominations have to be submitted at http://www.techpedia.in/award and the only abstract of the content submitted along with innovator detail would be published at the site or shared otherwise
