About The Program
G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment (NIHE) Junior/Senior Project Fellowship 2021 is an initiative for master's degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work in temporary positions at Ladakh Regional Centre (Leh) of the Institute. The candidate will receive a fellowship of up to INR 23,000 per month plus 8% HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must –
- Not exceed 32 years of age
For the post of Junior Project Fellow -
- Hold a Master’s degree in Zoology/Botany/Remote Sensing from a recognized University
For the post of Senior Project Fellow -
- Hold a Master’s degree in Zoology/Botany/Remote Sensing from a recognized University
- Hold a minimum of two years’ research experience proven by Research Publications
Benefits
The candidate will receive the fellowship in the following way -
- For the post of Senior Project Fellow - INR 20,000 plus 8% HRA
- For the post of Junior Project Fellow - INR 23,000 plus 8% HRA
