About The Program

Delhi Poetry Slam invites applications from young poets of age 13 years or above for Free Verse Poetry Competition 2017. The competition has been introduced to encourage young poets so that they can recognize their talent.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
  • Young poets of 13 years of age and above.
  • Participants must be Indian Nationals.

 

How can you apply?

Procedure to apply for the competition:
Step 1: Open the link to submit 3 poems/Open the link to submit 1 poem.
Step 2: Make payment for entry fee online.
Step 3: After making payment participant will receive an e-mail with submission form 
Step 4: Fill in all the information.
Step 5: Attach poems online.

Terms and Conditions

Points to be remembered:

  • The entry fee to participate in Free Verse Poetry Competition for one poem is INR 500 and for three poems is INR 1000.
  • The results will be announced on 28th February 2018.

Prizes 

  • Grand Prize: INR 25,000/-
  • 2nd Prize: INR 15,000/-
  • 3rd Prize: INR 10,000/-
  • Top 20 Places: INR 2500/-
