About The Program
FOSSEE, IIT Bombay invites applications from college students from around the country, pursuing their education at any level and in any stream, to be a part of the Summer Fellowship 2019. This summer fellowship of maximum 8 weeks provides students the opportunity to work on one of Free/Libre open source software tools like Scilab, LaTeX, Python, Xcos, Django, Drupal etc. The fellowship will help participating students get internships, jobs or pursue higher education.

The fellowship is open to all college students pursuing any level of education (Bachelors, Masters, PhD, etc). Students from all streams (engineering, sciences, arts, commerce, etc) can register for the summer fellowship.

The fellowship will help students in internships, jobs and higher studies.

Step 3: Provide relevant details, answer specific questions and complete account creation.
Step 4: Visit the latest scholarship page and then select the project of choice.
Step 5: Each project has specific screening tasks. Click on the link for the respective screening tasks of each project.
Step 6: Complete the project-specific screening tasks to apply.

Terms and Conditions
- Students selected for the fellowship need to come to IIT Bombay and work under the mentorship of the FOSSEE team members.
- The tasks submitted by the students will be evaluated by the FOSSEE team and their decision will be final.
- The selected candidates will work on the development of various Open Source Software/Hardware projects.
- This fellowship is for a maximum of 8 weeks and will not be extended.
