About The Program
Education Fee Reimbursement Scheme for Open Category Students, Maharashtra 2022-23 is an initiative of the Directorate of Medical Education Research, Government of Maharashtra to provide financial assistance to students belonging to the open category and pursuing MBBS, BDS, postgraduate medical (MD/MS) degree courses. The selected students will receive an Institute FRA-approved fee (private).

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- be a resident of Maharashtra
- belong to open category
- have taken admission through CAP
- not have a gap of 2 or more years in course duration

- HSC and SSC marksheet (new applicants)
- Previous year's marksheet
- Aadhaar card
- Father's PAN card
- Student's PAN card (optional)

How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps -
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on 'New Applicant Registration'.
Step 3: Fill in all required details, verify the email and phone number.
Step 4: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometrics.
Step 5: The candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number if they opt for OTP authentication.
Step 6: Complete the registration process by filling in all the required details.
Step 7: Log in using the username and password.
Step 8: Complete the scholarship application, upload the necessary documents and submit.

Selection Criteria
Terms and Conditions
- The student has to pass the previous year's examination. ATKT will be allowed.
- 50 % Attendance is mandatory for renewal.
- No Income criteria check for this scheme.
- No scholarship for Management Quota Admission.
- Deemed university students are not applicable to this scheme.
- The applicant should not have a gap of 2 or more than 2 years in course duration.
- Failure in the academic year, misconduct, and not fulfilling attendance criteria if found the candidate will not be eligible.
