About The Program
DTE Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna (EBC) Students, Maharashtra 2023-24 is an initiative of the Department of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra to provide financial assistance to the EBC students who are admitted to diploma/degree/postgraduate professional courses through Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The objective of the scheme is to ease the financial burden on the students who aspire to pursue higher education. The selected students will receive 50% of tuition fee and 50% of exam fee.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- be an Indian citizen
- be a domicile of Maharashtra
- have taken admission in a professional and technical course (diploma/graduation/postgraduation degree) as mentioned in GR (Government Resolution)
- be admitted through a Centralized Admission Process (CAP) and under the General category and EBC category
- have secured a minimum of 50% attendance in the previous semester (except for those freshly admitted to college)
- have an annual family income of less than ₹8,00,000
Note: Students studying in Deemed University and Private University are ineligible to apply for this scheme.

- Family's annual income certificate
- CAP Related document
- Proof of biometric attendance (Interface UIDAI)
- An undertaking stating that in the current year, no more than two individuals from the family are availing benefits from this scheme
How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Click on the 'New Applicant Registration' button at the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number.
Step 5: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometric.
Step 6: After completing the authentication process, fill in all the required details to 'Register'.
Step 7: Now, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 8: Log in using the username and password.
Step 9: Fill in the necessary details, upload the specified documents and submit.

Terms and Conditions
- The applicants must not be receiving any other scholarship or stipend to qualify for the scheme.
- A maximum of 2 children from the same family can avail of the benefits of the scheme for the ongoing academic year.
- Candidate should not have a gap of 2 or more years throughout the course duration.
