The scholarship is open to full-time students in high school, university or college (2019-2020 school year).
Applicants should write an essay on the topic of being a safer driver. The essay should answer the following questions-
- What is the importance of driver education in reducing the number of deaths as a result of driving?
- What steps can be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving?
- Have you ever had an experience of being in a car accident or have seen your friends or family members driving irresponsibly?
- What steps can you take to be a better and safer driver as well as help others become safer on the road?
Benefits
The National Driving and Traffic School will award scholarships worth USD 3000 to the winning essays. Six students will be rewarded for their essay submissions.

Follow the below steps to apply-
Step 1: Write a 500-word essay on the theme 'In The Driver's Seat' while including the answers to the required questions.
Step 2: Visit the link here to submit the essay.
Step 3: Provide personal details, education details and essay description in the submission form.
Step 4: Upload the essay file and click on 'Submit Essay'.

Terms and Conditions
- The essay should highlight the importance of being a safe and educated driver.
- The essay entries should be in Microsoft Word format.
- Employees and relatives of National Driving and Traffic School are ineligible.
- Applicants must include a picture of themselves along with their essays. These pictures will be posted on the website with the essays.
- The winner of the scholarship will be required to provide proof of successful acceptance to a Higher Institute of Learning, College or University.
- The scholarship payment will be made directly to the applicant's college.
