About The Program

DRDO-DRL Tezpur Research Associateship and Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is an opportunity offered by the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Tezpur to Ph.D./M.Tech/ME/ M.Sc./M.Pharma degree holders. The selected candidates will receive a stipend of up to INR 54,000 per month.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To apply, an applicant must - 

  • Not exceed 35 years of age (for Research Associate) and 28 years of age (for JRF)
  • Hold a Ph.D. degree in in Zoology/Entomology/ Horticulture/ Food Science & Technology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Environmental Science/ Life Sciences for the position of Research Associate
  • Hold an M.Tech/ME degree in Textile Engineering or M.Sc in Biotechnology with NET qualification or M.Pharm, OR
  • Hold an M.Sc. degree in Botany/Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Environmental Science/Life Sciences with NET qualification

  • For the post of Junior Research Fellow - INR 31,000

  • No application will be entertained after the closing date.
  • The date and time for the Interview will be communicated individually to the suitable candidates by email.
  • The interview will be conducted online or offline as per provisions available at that time.
  • The tenure of JRF is initially 2 years, which is extendable as per Govt rules, and for the post of RA is two years (max).
  • The award of Fellowship/Associate does not confer any right to absorption or employment in DRDO.
