About The Program
The DRDO DIPR Internship 2026 is offered by the Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DIPR). This prestigious program provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable research experience and exposure at DIPR, a specialised laboratory under DRDO. The selected interns will receive a stipend of up to ₹30,000.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a final year postgraduate student pursuing Psychology OR
- a final year undergraduate student pursuing Engineering (CSE), in a full-time course from a recognized Indian university/institute
- have secured a minimum of 60% marks in their respective discipline
Benefits
Selected students will receive:
- A stipend of up to ₹5,000 per month for 6 months.
- Lunch, tea, and snacks at subsidised rates
- Certificate of completion

- Brief bio-data (300 words)
- Academic transcripts and certificates
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the parent institution
- Aadhaar card (original).
- College ID card (original).
- 3 passport-size photographs
- Police verification
- Medical Fitness Certificate
- Undertaking for adherence to the Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923 (note: non-compliance may lead to termination).
- Undertaking to follow IT rules and regulations applicable to the Ministry of Defence and its amendments.
- Undertaking that the intern is not receiving or being paid for any other internship.
- Indemnity form from the college (as and when required by DIPR)
- Bank details
(Note:- Selected interns must email Police Verification Report and Medical Fitness Certificate to admindipr.dipr@gov.in before joining date.)

- Students must arrange for their own accommodation and travel.
- The stipend shall be paid in 2 installments - 15,000 on completion of the first 3 months of the internship and 15,000 on completion of the total 6 months of the internship.
