About The Program
DRDO-DESIDOC, Delhi Apprenticeship 2023-24 is an opportunity offered by the Defence Scientific Information & Documentation Centre (DESIDOC) under the aegis of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence to graduates in Library & Information Science and diploma holders in Library Science. The selected graduates will receive a monthly stipend of INR 9,000 and diploma holders will receive INR 8,000.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- hold a degree in Library & Information Science, diploma in Library Science (2 years) from a recognized university/ institute
- have passed out in 2021 and 2022
Note - Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training in any institute/organisation are not eligible.
Benefits
The selected candidates will receive awards as follow -
- Degree holders - INR 9,000 per month
- Diploma holders - INR 8,000 per month

Terms and Conditions
- No TA/DA will be paid to the applicants called at any stage of the selection process.
- The candidates claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC category have to submit a caste certificate as per central government format, failing which their claim for reservation will be considered as ‘General’ category only.
