About The Program

DRDO - CFEES ITI Apprenticeship Training 2023 is an opportunity offered by the Defense Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) Centre For Fire Explosive and Environment Safety (CFEES), Ministry of Defence (Government of India). Eligible ITI-passed candidates can apply to the available 36 positions* for this one-year apprenticeship program. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of INR 7,000.

*The number of vacancies mentioned above is only indicative and may change at a later stage depending on the final assessment of eligible applications received.

To be eligible, an applicant must - 

  • be an Indian citizen
  • be in the age limit of 18 to 27 years (Note: maximum age for OBC - 30 years, SC/ST - 32 years, PwD - 37 years)
  • have passed out from ITI recognised by NCVT with a regular course
  • have passed their last qualifying exam in 2021/2022

 

Note -

  • Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam earlier than 2021 are not eligible.
  • Candidates with a diploma/graduation degree in any discipline are not eligible to apply.
Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of INR 7,000.

Note - 

  • No TA/DA shall be given to the candidates for interview/document verification/joining CFEES.
  • The apprentices will not be provided with any quarters/hostel accommodation by this establishment during the entire training period.

How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the apprenticeship by following the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note - If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Select the 'Register' option and fill in all the details to complete the registration.
Step 4: Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number/email ID.
Step 5: Select the 'Login' and log in with valid credentials.
Step 6: Navigate to the 'JRF/Apprentice Trainee', go to the third option and click on the 'Apply' option.
Step 7: Fill in all the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit the application.

Selection Criteria

The selection process for ITI Apprentice Trainees involves shortlisting of candidates based on their marks obtained in the qualifying exam (ITI). This is followed by a screening test or interview, or both, depending on the vacancies available in different disciplines.

The candidates who are shortlisted for the interview will be informed about the details through email or SMS. The screening test or interview, or both, will take place at CFEES, Delhi, as per the dates communicated through email or SMS.

Note - It is advised for candidates to regularly check for updates regarding the exact date and time of the interview or screening test.
