Dr. Shamanur Shivashankarappa Janakalyan Trust (SSJKT) Scholarship 2025 is an initiative of the Dr. Shamanur Shivashankarappa Janakalyan Trust (SSJKT) to support deserving students who are domiciled in Karnataka and facing financial constraints in pursuing their education. The scholarship typically covers expenses on various levels of education, including pre-university, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses in one of the following fields:-
- Pre-University Course (PUC)
- MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)
- Diploma
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)
- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSC)
- Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
- Bachelor of Business Management/Bachelor of Business Administration (BBM/BBA)
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.)
- Master of Science (M.Sc.)
- Master of Arts (M.A.)
- Master of Commerce (M.Com.)
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
- Chartered Accountant (CA)

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a resident of Karnataka
- fulfil the below-mentioned academic requirements:
| Courses | Cut Off Percentage (%) |
| PUC, MBBS | 95% marks For example, if a student is studying in PUC (Pre-University Course), their Class 10/SSLC score should be more than 95%. |
| Diploma, B.Sc., B.Com., B.E., B.VSc. |
90% marks |
| BCA, BBM/BBA, B.A., BDS, B.Pharma, M.Sc., MA, M.Com., B.Ed., C.A. | 85% marks For example, if a student is studying in BCA, their PUC score should be more than 85%. |
- be pursuing studies in an institute of repute
- have an annual family income not exceeding ₹1,00,000
Benefits
Selected students will receive financial assistance under this scholarship.
Selected students will receive financial assistance disbursed directly to their bank accounts provided in the application form.
Documents
- A passport-size photo
- Signature from the parent(s)
- Signature from college Principal/ HOD/Director along with the institution seal
- Bank's passbook of the applicant
Note:-
- Applicants must attach a passport-sized photo to the designated area on the printed application form.
- Applicants need to obtain signatures from both their parents/guardians and the college Principal/HOD/Director.
- The college Principal/HOD/Director's signature should be accompanied by the institute/college seal.
- After obtaining the required signatures, applicants should scan the completed application form and upload it along with the other necessary documents.
- The application status will only change to 'Submitted' after all documents are successfully uploaded.

Step 5: After successful registration, fill in the details, upload the necessary documents and submit the application. After submitting the application, take a printout of it for future reference.

- Students who leave or discontinue the course, and the Principal/Head of the Institution, are required to notify the trust.
- The scholarship amount will not be resent if the application is rejected due to an incorrect bank account number.
- Only online applications are accepted. Applications sent via post/courier will be rejected.
