Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance Scheme 2023-24 is an initiative of the Directorate of Medical Education Research, Government of Maharashtra, to provide financial assistance to students pursuing specified medical courses in government-aided/corporation/private un-aided colleges. The selected students will receive a hostel maintenance allowance of up to ₹30,000 per annum.

The selected candidates will receive the hostel maintenance allowances as follows:
Category | Students with an annual family income of less than ₹1,00,000 (for a duration of 10 months) | Students whose parents are registered labourer/Alpabhudharak shetkari (marginal landholders) (for a duration of 10 months) |
For students studying in Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad | ₹3,000 | ₹30,000 |
For other locations in Maharashtra | ₹2,000 | ₹20,000 |
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Click on the 'New Applicant Registration' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, and verify the email and phone number.
Step 5: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometrics.
Step 6: After completing the authentication process, fill in all the required details to the 'Register' button.
Step 7: Now, click the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 8: Log in using the username and password.
Step 9: Fill in the necessary details, upload the specified documents, and submit.
