About The Program

Dr Gita Piramal Graduate Scholarship 2025 is an opportunity offered by Somerville College, Oxford University to graduate students from India pursuing a master's in sustainability science and development degree courses. Selected candidates will receive course fees for the selected course. Additionally, they will receive a grant for living expenses and travelling allowances.

Selection Criteria

Scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit, the relevance of their studies to the Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development, their understanding of India's development challenges, and their leadership potential, with financial need also considered.

Successful candidates will be transferred to Somerville College to receive the scholarship after shortlisting and interviews. Candidates meeting residency criteria and applying for eligible courses will receive emails inviting them to confirm their interest in the scholarship and provide details about their financial circumstances.

Note:- Eligible candidates who apply for graduate study by the funding deadline will be considered for scholarships, regardless of college preference.

Terms and Conditions
  • Awards will be provided for the duration of the course fee liability.
  • Only one scholarship is available for the academic year 2025.
  • The scholarship is only tenable at Summerville College.
