About The Program

Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhattar Sanshodhit Yojna, Haryana 2024-25 is an opportunity offered by the Directorate of Welfare of Scheduled Caste and Backward Classes, Government of Haryana to students studying in class 11 to postgraduation level. The scheme aims to financially assist meritorious students of Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, Nomadic, DNTs, Semi-Nomadic, Vimukt Jaati and Tapriwas Jaati in the field of education. Selected candidates will receive a scholarship per annum ranging from ₹8,000 to ₹12,000.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a citizen of India
  • be a domicile of Haryana
  • belong to the Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Nomadic, DNTs, Semi-Nomadic, Vimukt Jati, or Tapriwas Jaati
  • be pursuing education in classes 11 to postgraduation level
  • have acquired a minimum of 65% marks in the last qualifying examination
  • have an annual family income not exceeding ₹4,00,000

Note:- The minimum marks is relaxed by 5% for rural students.

Benefits

Selected candidates will receive:-

  • For students of Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Nomadic, DNTs, Semi-Nomadic, Vimukt Jati, and Tapriwas Jaati:
    • ₹8,000 for class 11 and the first year of all diploma/certificate courses.
    • ₹8,000 for the first year of graduation (Arts/Commerce/Science/Diploma/Certificate courses).
    • ₹9,000 for the first year of graduation (Engineering/Technical).
    • ₹10,000 for the first year of graduation (Medical and allied courses).
    • ₹9,000 for the first year of postgraduation (Arts/Commerce/Science).
    • ₹11,000 for the first year of postgraduation (Engineering/Technical).
    • ₹12,000 for the first year of postgraduation (Medical and allied courses).
  • For Students of Backward Classes Block 'A' and 'B': ₹8,000 for class 11 and the first year of all diploma/certificate courses.
  • For meritorious students of other social classes: ₹8,000 for class 11 and the first year of all diploma/certificate courses.

Step 1:
