About The Program

The Tallinn University is inviting applications from students around the world who are studying a Master's degree program at the university for Dora Plus Scholarship for Foreign Master's Students 2019. The main objective of the scholarship is to support international students in pursuing their master's degree and contribute to the international exchange of knowledge. 

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must -

  • Be studying in a full-time international master program at Tallinn University in the English language.
  • Not have permanent residence permission or long term residence permission to live in Estonia.
  • Not be living in Estonia for more than one year during the past three years.
  • Not be in receipt of any financial support for their studies from anyone.
Benefits

The selected scholars will get EUR 350 per month for one year study time (10 months in an academic year)

  • Transcript of records from other university (if studying in a joint master's program of Tallinn University)

Note: The applicant must upload only one file in the application. The file must be in txt, rtf, pdf, doc, docx, odt, ppt, pptx, odp, xls, xlsx, ods format only with size, not more than 50 MB.

How can you apply?

The students can apply for the scholarship online through the following steps:

Step 1: Visit the official scholarship notification.
Step 2: Click on 'Electronic application'.
Step 3: An application form will open. Fill in the application form.
Step 4: Upload all supporting documents.
Step 5: Click on 'Submit' to finally submit the form.

Important Dates

Application deadline for first-year students: 10 September 2019
Application deadline for second-year students: 30 June 2019
Announcement of results: 17 September onwards

Selection Criteria

The scholarship will be awarded to a talented master's student. The Dora Plus programme coordinator verifies the applicants' compliance with the requirements after which a ranking list is formed based on the admission examination results. The students occupying the highest ranking will get the scholarship.

Terms and Conditions
  • The payment of scholarship will be discontinued if the students take academic leave or go abroad for a study mobility that lasts for more than 30 days. 
  • The payment of scholarship will be discontinued starting from the month that the beneficiary is no longer in compliance with the scholarship conditions.
