To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent
- Have a solid undergraduate training in economics and/or quantitative subjects
- Be applying for any of the following 2-year Master programmes at the Department of Economics and Statistics -
- Laurea Magistrale in Economics and Finance “LMEF” (entirely taught in English),
- Laurea Magistrale in Economia e Commercio “LMEC” and
- Laurea Magistrale in Finanza.
- Have a good command of the English language
Benefits
- The foreign candidates (Type A) can get scholarships up to EUR 7,000 in two instalments: 50% after enrolment in the first year and the remaining 50% after enrolment in the second year.
- The Italian candidates (Type B) can get scholarships up to EUR 4,000 in two instalments: 50% after enrolment in the first year and the remaining 50% after enrolment in the second year.
- The foreign candidates for a double degree (Type C) can expect scholarships up to EUR 4,000 in one instalment after enrolment to the program.
- Tuition fees are waived for foreign citizens but taxes need to be paid separately and amount to EUR 156,00.
Note: The scholarship recipients are responsible for their own travel and health care provision arrangements. They will receive assistance with all administrative procedures (visa procedures, permit of stay request etc.) by ISU (International Student Union).

Selection Criteria
- The selection committee will award each applicant up to 100 points on the basis of the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree final grade
- Transcript of records
- Specific grades in Mathematics, Statistics, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics
- English knowledge
- Motivation letter
- Other titles (summer schools, internships, etc.)
- For each type of scholarship, applicants will be ranked according to their total score.
- The ranking of qualified candidates will include those who receive a minimum score of 50 and will be published on the website.

Terms and Conditions
- All foreign students must provide a certificate (“dichiarazione di valore”) issued by the Italian consular authorities as a recognition of academic qualifications.
- Recipients must hold a checking account in the euro area.
