The Interns will be shortlisted and selected by the respective Groups/Divisions for their concerned domain. For the selection of interns a personal or Skype interview if deemed necessary, will be conducted.

About The Program
Digital India Internship Scheme 2022 is an initiative by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India for students pursuing B.E./B.Tech. or integrated or dual degrees. The key objective of the internship is to provide practical and first-hand work experience to students under the guidance of an experienced and qualified mentor/supervisor. The internship will be offered at NIC, Headquarters, New Delhi and NIC State Centres. The selected interns will receive INR 10,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be Indian students from recognized universities
- Have at least 60% marks in the last held degree or certificate examination
- Be pursuing B.E./B.Tech., M.E./M.Tech./ MCA, M.Sc. (Electronics)/M.Sc.(CS)/M.Sc.(IT), DoEACC ‘B’ level
- Have exposure in the area of intended internship with good academic background and having higher qualifications, based on need
Note - The students who are in the last semester or who will pass out in summer 2022 will not be eligible for the internship.
Benefits
The selected interns will be paid a token remuneration of INR 10,000 per month, subject to their satisfactory performance during the internship, duly certified by their mentor/supervisor.
Note - The remuneration will be paid after the completion of the internship on submission of the report duly accepted by NIC.

- Recommendation Letter forwarded by the Institution on the Letter Head of the Institute
- A write-up not less than 100 words and not more than 250 words under the subject 'Statement of Purpose’ bringing out the purpose/benefits of the scheme
- A self-declaration for conversion formula of CGPA into percentage with attestation from their educational institution
- Degrees and last result available

Terms and Conditions
- Certificates will be issued by NIC to the Interns on the completion of the internship and submission of the report duly countersigned and accepted by the Training Division, NIC.
- If the Intern decides to disengage from NIC, he should provide 2 weeks’ prior notice.
- The student must furnish a “No–Demand Certificate” to NIC in the prescribed format after completion of project work along with a soft copy and hard copy of the project report.
