About The Program
The Dibrugarh University Pragati Summer Internship Programme 2025 is an opportunity provided by the Dibrugarh University under the sponsorship of the DST-PURSE grant to undergraduate and postgraduate science students. This six-week internship provides exposure to emerging technologies and helps develop research aptitude. The selected candidates will receive an award of up to ₹7,500.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be students from colleges affiliated with Dibrugarh University
- be studying in the 4th year of their UG (four-year course) or 2nd year PG programme
- not have active academic backlogs
- have scored a minimum 7.5 CGPA (unreserved category) and 7.0 CGPA( SC/ST/OBC category) till the 3rd semester
- Undergraduate internships are provided by the following departments:
- Life Sciences (Botany, Zoology)
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Applied Geology
- Postgraduate scholarships are provided by the following departments:
- Life Sciences (Botany, Zoology)
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Mathematics

- Petroleum Technology
Benefits
The selected candidates will receive the following benefits:-
- A consolidated remuneration of ₹5,000 for 30 UG students and ₹7,500 for 20 PG students.
- A certificate of completion of the internship.

- The decision regarding the allotment of a supervisor will only be taken by the concerned department.
- Within two weeks of completion of the internship, interns have to submit a report to the Head of the concerned department, duly certified by their supervisor, to receive their certificate of completion.
- Interns will have to arrange for their own accommodation.
