The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites applications for the Design a Logo for Union Public Service Commission Contest, 2018. Interested participants should submit logos that reflect the roles and functions of the UPSC. The designer of the finally selected logo will get a prize of INR 75,000.

Note: The prize money will be payable after deduction of TDS.
How can you apply? Follow the below steps to apply-
Step 1: Register or log in on the MyGov portal.
Step 2: Open the task page and click on 'Do this task now'.
Step 3: Attach the logo as a pdf/image.
Step 4: Write a brief explanation of the logo.
Step 5: Click on 'Save'.Note: The logo should be easily understood by the common man. It should communicate the ethos and excellence of the UPSC in discharging its constitutional mandate.
Selection Criteria
The winning entry will be selected by a selection committee based on creativity, originality, composition, visual impact, and simplicity.

- Logo entry should be accompanied with a brief explanation of the logo.
- The logo should be original and it should not violate the Indian Copyright Act or IP laws.
- The logo should be submitted in JPEG, PNG or PDF format only.
- It should be designed in colour and submitted in CYMK or RGB formats.
- The size of the logo can vary from 5cm*5cm to 60cm*60cm in portrait or landscape.
- All the fonts should be converted to outlines and the logo should be of high resolution (at least 300 pixels/inch at 100% size).
- Pixilated and compressed images will not be accepted.
- Only one entry is allowed per person.
- There will be only one winner of the contest and he/she will be asked to submit the original open source file of the image to UPSC.
- The winner will be required to give the copyright of the design to UPSC.
- UPSC holds the right to not proceed with the competition at any stage.
