About The Program
Department of Metallurgical Engineering Junior Research Fellowship, IIT BHU 2021 is a research opportunity offered to bachelor’s/master’s degree holders. The fellowship requires the candidates to work on a DST-SERB sponsored project entitled - “High-Performance Rare Earth Free Nanocomposite Permanent Magnets for Advanced Motors and Alternative Energy Applications”. The selected candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus 16% HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be below 30 years of age
- Hold a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Metallurgical Engg./Ceramic Engg
- Hold a Master’s degree in Materials Science/Engg./Technology, OR Master’s degree in Solid State Physics with Mathematics as a subject at Bachelor’s level
- Have a qualified GATE score
