About The Program
Department of Geology and Geophysics Junior Research Fellowship, IIT Kharagpur 2021 is a research opportunity offered to postgraduate degree holders. The selected fellows are required to work on the project titled - "Seismic Hazard Monitoring for North Bihar due to Neighbouring Nepal Himalaya: using GPS Strain and Seismicity(HNH)". The candidate will receive a fellowship of up to INR 31,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be below 28 years of age
- M.Sc. or M.Sc.(Tech) degree in Applied Geophysics/Geophysics/ Exploration Geophysics, OR
- Have M.Tech degree in Remote Sensing and GIS(Specialization in Geosciences) with First Division/Class
Benefits
The selected fellows will receive a stipend of up to INR 31,000 per month.
