The Data for Social Good Hackathon 2021-22 is a competition presented by Telangana State Innovation Cell Foundation, Government of Telangana, in collaboration with the Data Analytics and Computational Social Science (DACSS) Program at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. The hackathon is designed for those students who are interested in developing approaches based on data analytics for tracking and monitoring India’s progress (with a special focus on Telangana) towards tackling Sustainable Development Goals.
The virtual hackathon is designed for those who are interested in telling stories with data and to develop approaches based on data analytics and visualization for tackling Sustainable Development Goals. The winning candidate or group will be provided with the opportunity to present their solutions at a virtual research symposium.

The winning teams will be provided with a unique opportunity to present their solution at a virtual research symposium organized by the Data Analytics and Computational Social Sciences program at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
The winning teams will be provided with a unique opportunity to present their findings to the relevant Telangana state government departments and help them formulate decisions and policies.
