Dalai Lama Fellowship Program 2026

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• be between 20 and 36 years of age as of April 1, 2026
• be fluent in both written and spoken English
• be engaged with, or have well-articulated plans for, a social change project and sustain that engagement throughout the fellowship year
• have in-depth knowledge of the community and the issue the project seeks to address, ideally with at least one year of previous experience working with the community

• Benefit from one-on-one and small-group coaching designed to support personal development and leadership in social innovation.
• Participate in the Contemplative Leadership Assembly alongside Fellows from around the world, guided by dynamic faculty.

• A 1-2 minute video describing the applicant’s life insights and how it changed their life so far
• A reference letter
• Resume/Curriculum Vitae

Note:- The reference letter will be provided by an individual after the applicant has provided their email in the reference section.
