To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be an Indian national
- hold a bachelor's degree from a recognised institution in a related field
- Have applied for one of the following master's degree programs at the Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics:
- M.Sc. in Molecular Medicine
- M.Sc. in Medical Genetics
- M.Sc. in Neuroscience
- M.Sc. in Biotechnology
- All programs are accredited by the Republic of Cyprus, European Union countries, and other countries
- possess English language certification or any other internationally recognised standard if their previous degree was not taught in English

Benefits
Up to three postgraduate scholarships will be awarded to cover the tuition fees of selected students, depending on availability.

How can you apply?
Eligible students can apply by following the steps below:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID.)
Step 3: Fill the required details and click on the ‘Submit’ to register.
Step 4: Enter the username and password for the Extranet account and click on the ‘Login’ button.
Step 5: Fill in all the required fields with specific information, upload necessary documents and submit the application (Note:- Applicants can save their applications in progress and return to complete them later.)
Step 6: The students will be considered for the scholarship based on the fulfilment of eligibility and selection criteria.

Selection Criteria
The admissions committee will assess applications and supporting documents for interviews. Selected applicants will receive an email with their interview date and time.
Students residing in Cyprus will attend the interview in person at the institution, while international students will be interviewed via Skype.
Following the interview, the admissions committee will select candidates based on merit and performance. Chosen candidates will be notified of the committee's decision and receive information about the next steps via email.

Terms and Conditions
- No changes will be considered for submitted applications.
- International students must possess health insurance that covers themselves, their spouses, and dependents.
- CING students can apply for a public scholarship using the government's evaluation criteria.
- The M.Sc. program requires a minimum of 50 ECTS from taught courses including tutorials and 40 ECTS from the research project.
- The Government of India does not nominate scholarship recipients. CING and the Republic of Cyprus directly select awardees.
