About The Program
The CYD Doctoral Fellowship 2025 is an opportunity offered by the Università della Svizzera italiana to doctoral applicants. It aims to enable fellows to complete a Ph.D. thesis at the CYD Campus under the supervision of a professor at a Swiss higher education institution. The program focuses on cyber-defence, including topics such as data science, AI methods, and security technologies. Selected candidates will receive up to CHF 5,000 per year and other benefits.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be enrolled in a doctoral program in a Swiss institution endorsed by a professor at that institution
Note:-
- Applicants who are early or just starting their Ph.D. career will receive preference.
- There are no age restrictions for this fellowship.
Benefits
Selected candidates will receive:-
- Salary contribution (incl. social security benefits) based on host institution scales
- Research costs up to CHF 3,000 per year
- Conference costs up to CHF 5,000 per year
Note:- The duration of the benefits is up to 4 years, with a possible one-year extension.
