Project Cyber Shikshaa - a joint initiative of Microsoft & Data Security Council of India (DSCI) - invites applications for the Cyber Shikshaa Skill Scholarship 2018-19 for skilling women engineering graduates in the niche field of Cyber Security.
As part of this program, a 4-month free training program shall be conducted exclusively for women to make them Industry-ready by imparting the requisite technical skills in the domain of Cyber Security. The program shall also entail placement assistance for the deserving candidates with the potential recruiters looking to hire for various job roles in Cyber Security.
The current scholarship opportunity is for the Cyber Shikshaa centres at Noida (UP) and Mohali (Punjab). 30 candidates will be selected for each centre on the basis of a written exam.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must:
- Be a female candidate between the age of 21 and 26 years
- Be Engineering Graduates (any stream), or MCA, or M.Sc (IT or CS), or M.Tech
- Have an annual household income less than INR 7 Lakh
Benefits Each of the scholars shall receive the below listed benefits:
- Financial support to cover training cost through Microsoft CSR Program
- Learning through course designed by Industry experts
- Developing soft skills & become industry ready
- Dedicated Placement assistance at the end of the course
- Opportunity to be mentored by the industry experts in cyber security
Documents The following documents will be required with each application:
- Proof of Identity (Aadhar/Voter id/Driving license)
- Self declaration of annual family income
- Certificate/Marksheet for Class XII
- Certificate/Marksheet for Graduation
How can you apply? All applications shall be initially screened by Buddy4Study followed by a counselling session.

Eligible applicants will need to undergo a written examination for final selection.
