About The Program
CSIR-IMMT Graduate/Diploma Apprenticeship 2023 is an opportunity offered by the CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology, Bhubaneswar*. They are offering apprenticeship opportunities for Engineering, Non-Engineering, Diploma holders and ITI passed-out students. A total of 71 positions are available to apply in different disciplines. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of up to INR 9,000.
CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology, Bhubaneswar* expertise in conducting basic research and technology-oriented programs in a wide range of subjects to address the R&D problems of mining, mineral and metals industries and ensure their sustainable development.

- be a graduate/diploma holder in Engineering/Non-Engineering subjects
Note -
- Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship or are undergoing elsewhere or have one year or more experience are not eligible.

How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the position using the steps listed below-
Step 1: Click the ‘Apply Now’ button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note - If already registered, log in using the registered email ID.)
Step 3: Navigate to 'Enroll' on the righthand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Fill in the required details and submit to 'Enroll'. [Note - The candidates who are already enrolled on the portal can log in using valid credentials]
Step 5: After successfully enrolling on the portal, the candidates will receive a unique Enrolment Number.
Step 6: Login using the valid credentials and click on 'Establishment Request Menu'.
Step 7: Click on 'Find Establishment' and upload the resume.
Step 8: Choose the Establishment Name and type ‘CSIR-IMMT Apprenticeship’ and click on 'Apply'.
Step 9: Fill in the details to apply for the position.
For Graduates in non-Engineering/non-Technical applicants -
Send the bio-data and all the required documents through email at - recruitment@immt.res.in on or before May 17, 2023.
Note -
- Candidates who are enrolling for the first time on the NATS portal, need to wait for their unique enrollment number to be generated before applying.
- It takes up to a day for verifying the enrollment request and gets approved by the concerned regional boards.
- Once the applicants receive the unique enrollment number, they can proceed to apply.

- The applicant’s candidature would be provisional and subject to subsequent verification of certificates and testimonials.
- If a candidate fails to abide by the eligibility norms at any stage of the apprenticeship, or, if they have furnished incorrect or false information/document/certificate, then their candidature will be cancelled.
- The decision of the Director, CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar will be final and binding on all candidates and all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, mode of selection, cancellation of the selection process, etc. No correspondence/ Interim queries will be entertained in this regard.
