About The Program
CCCC Cryptic Crossword Contest 2018 invites applications from both public and private schools recognized by any board. The contest aims to provide a platform to Class 9 to 12 students to showcase their talent along with offering cash reward up to INR 25,000 to winning teams.

Participating schools can send one team consisting of 2 students from Class 9 to 12.
Benefits
- National winners: INR 25,000 will be awarded to the team along with National Crossword Champion trophy and certificates.
- Runners-up: INR 15,000 will be awarded to the team along with trophies and certificates.
- 2nd Runners-up: A prize of INR 10,000 will be awarded to the team along with trophies and certificates.
- All the city round winners will receive trophies, certificates and free trip and stay in New Delhi during the Grand Finale.
- Every participant, both at the City Round and Grand Finale levels will be awarded the participation certificate.
How can you apply?
- Schools can participate by filling required details on this link.
- On-the-spot registration for the individual teams will take place at the announced city venue from 10 AM to 11 AM.
Important Dates
- The Phase I (July-September) will include city rounds for the selected cities on the selected dates mentioned here.
- In Phase II (November-December) winning teams will be called to New Delhi where a three-day grand finale will take place. The three-day finale will comprise of a written quarter-final, four onstage semi-finals, and the onstage final.

- The venues for the contest in the mentioned cities are yet to be announced. We request you to please follow this website on a regular interval to check for the same.
- The host schools are allowed to send two teams in the competition.
- It is mandatory for a school team to be accompanied by their teacher-in-charge.
- The qualified teams along with teacher-in-charge from outside the National Capital Region (NCR) will be reimbursed with to and fro sleeper class train fare. The local stay and transport to the venue and back will be provided by the organizers.
