About The Program
Consumer Voice Video Making Competition 2018 invites entries for short videos from any student, young person or amateur. The theme for the competition is "Jago Grahak Jago: Smart Consumers Asserting Rights and Pursuing Remedies".
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
Any student, amateur or young person can apply for this competition.
Benefits
- The first prize winner will receive a cash prize of INR 20,000.
- The second prize winner will receive a cash prize of INR 15,000.
- The third prize winner will receive a cash prize of INR 10,000.
- 10 consolation prizes of INR 2,500 each will also be given.
- All eligible candidates will receive Certificate of Participation on Prize Distribution Event.
How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can submit their entries online through following steps -
Step 1: Prepare a short video on any of the topics given.
Step 2: Upload the video on G-Drive or wetransfer link.
Step 3: Email the video link along with the applicant's full name, address, email id, mobile number and referred by details to events@consumer-voice.org.

Selection Criteria
Terms and Conditions
- The candidates can submit the videos in Hindi and English language only with duration up to 5 minutes only.
- All the entries submitted must be related to the theme and be in .mpeg or .mp4 format only.
- One participant can submit up to 3 entries only.
- The distribution of prizes will be done at a Prize Distribution Event to be held at Shah Auditorium, Rajniwas Marg, New Delhi - 110054 on 22 December 2018.
- The important topics to be covered for the competition include -
- Unfair trade practices in retail markets
- Exploitation of consumers at the retail level
- Problems faced by telecom consumers
- Problems of Airline passengers
- Problems related to MRP on packaged products
- Problems of the consumer with technical and IT products like Desktop, Laptop, Tablets, Smartphones etc.
- Problems of buyers of consumer durables like TV, Fridge, Microwave, Washing Machine etc.
- Problems of patients in government and private hospitals.
