CLPR Equality Fellowship 2018 is a paid, 2-year opportunity, which will be awarded to 6 young lawyers keen to pursue the practice of public interest law on a full-time basis.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible for this fellowship, an applicant must-
- Be an LLB graduate with minimum 2 years of experience in Litigation
- Be registered with the Bar Council of India
- Have a working knowledge of Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada or Telugu
- Demonstrate a strong interest in rights-based advocacy
- Show a commitment to public interest law
Benefits A total of 6 fellows will be selected to receive a paid fellowship for 2 years to engage in litigation and advocacy that responds to intersectional discrimination in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Documents - A duly signed application form
- Two writing samples (published articles, essays, blog posts between 500 and 2000 words)
- Resume/CV
How can you apply? Follow the below steps to apply:
Step 1: Visit the CLPR website and download the application form.
Step 2: Fill in the form with the required details and answer the application questions.
Step 3: Sign the application form and provide two writing samples.
Step 4: Provide all the required documents as attachments.
Step 5: Email the application, writing samples, and other documents to saumya.dadoo@clpr.org.inNote: All the documents should be sent attached as a single pdf file labelled with "[Your Last Name], [Your First Name]". Also, the subject line of the Email should be “[Your Name]- Equality Fellowship Application".

Terms and Conditions
- Equality fellows will engage in litigation and advocacy work in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu. The fellows will be working with the communities facing discrimination on the basis of caste, gender, disability, sexuality, gender identity, and minority status.
- They will need to work on enhancing the implementation of various equality laws.
- CLPR strongly encourages persons from SC/ST backgrounds, minority religions, LGBTQI+ persons and persons with disability to apply.
