Classmate Spellbee Season 9 2016-17 objective is to provide an opportunity to win cash up to 200000 and expenses paid a trip to Washington D.C. with one parent to watch the Scripps National Spelling Bee live to the students of class 5 to 9 because we believe that every child is unique and has the potential to do great things. The Classmate Achievers Club reflects this ideology by showcasing accomplishments of the best participants of Classmate Spell Bee, combining the values of unique children and their command over words. Classmate Spellbee Season 9 2016
DeadlineClosed Eligibility - Open only to students of Indian nationality studying in Indian schools.
- Students of class 5 to 9 within the age of 10 to 16 years are eligible to apply.
How can you apply? Application can be done online with the following steps:
Step 1: Register yourself and submit.
Step 2: Now take the test of 10 minutes to select 75 correctly spelt words.

Terms and Conditions
- There are 4 levels:
- School Level
- City Finals
- Semi-finals
- National Finals
- School Level:
Class 5 to 9, start gearing up! This Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format will test your basic spelling skills. You have to choose the correct spellings of 75 words from the options. Top scorers from each school move to City Finals of the competition. You are also required to mandatorily fill in your information on a form that will be used for all future correspondence.
- Online Test:
You can now take the test online provided you fall within the eligibility criteria. Students who are not from the 30 cities that the competition travels to physically can participate through the online test. If your city does not appear in the drop down kindly select the city closest to where you reside. Top scorers from the online test also advance to City Finals.
- By entering the Contest, the student through their parents/ guardians:
- They have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions;
- All information submitted by the student is true, accurate, current and complete;
- Accepts that all entries and any intellectual property rights subsisting therein, which are received by ENIL will become the property of ENIL and will not be returned and the entry does not defame, cause injury or invade the privacy of or otherwise infringe or violate any applicable law, regulation, custom or intellectual property rights of any third party.
