Citi NCPA Scholarship for Young Musicians 2024-26 is an opportunity offered by the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Mumbai in partnership with CITI bank, to young musicians enrolled in advanced training in the field of Hindustani Music (vocal – khayal/dhrupad, and melody instruments – flute, harmonium, violin, sitar, sarod, etc.). The selected students will receive ₹10,000 per month for two years (April 2024 to March 2026).

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be an Indian national
- be aged between 18 to 30 years as of 1st March 2024 (for Khayal & Melody Instruments)
- be aged between 18 to 35 years as of 1st March 2024 (for Dhrupad)
Note:-
- Candidates who are full-time/part-time working professionals are ineligible to apply.
- Professional musicians including those with ‘A’ grades from All India Radio are not eligible.
Benefits The selected students will receive ₹10,000 per month for two years (April 2024 to March 2026).
Documents Biodata including the following information:
- Candidate’s name
- Date of birth
- Address and contact number/alternate contact number, email ID
- Professional qualification
- Details of musical training including teachers/gurus
- Number of years of total training
- Details of achievements/prizes/scholarships and performances, and other noteworthy details
Note:- Any scanned copies of the certificates/audio or video clips of musical performances will not be accepted.

Selection Criteria
The candidates will be selected based on the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria and the final decision of the NCPA Selection Committee.
