CIPET Bengaluru Vritika Research Training and Skill Internship Scheme 2021 is an opportunity offered by the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Bengaluru to PG students of Science and Engineering Stream. The main objective of this opportunity is to introduce students to the field of engineering plastics and their applications with respect to 3D printing, enable them in learning about advanced prototyping and manufacturing techniques such as 3D printing and vacuum casting and provide them with a platform for research-oriented candidates to kick-start their research career. The selected candidates will receive variable awards.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be a PG student of Science and Engineering Stream (Polymer Science/Plastics Engineering/Mechanical/Mechatronics/CADCAM/Manufacturing and Production Engineering)
Benefits The selected interns will receive the following awards -
- A certificate on successful completion of the internship (Submission of work report) from CIPET: SARP – APDDRL, Bengaluru
- Necessary expenses such as stationery, consumables, accommodation, food, etc. for the participating students will be borne by CIPET: SARP – APDDRL, Bengaluru through SERB funding support for the whole internship period (pro-rata basis)
- TA reimbursement for the journey to the host institute from the candidates' hometown/home institute, both ways, as per GoI norms
Documents - Endorsement cum No Objection Certificate for allowing the student to participate in an internship, if selected, for “INTERNSHIP” in physical mode
- Degree certificates including UG/PG marksheets
- Copy of Aadhar card
- Statement of research interest

Selection Criteria
The candidates will be selected based on the recommendations of the selection committee constituted for this purpose by the CIPET: SARP – APDDRL, [School for Advanced Research in Polymers (SARP) Advanced Polymer Design and Development Research Laboratory (APDDRL)], Bengaluru.

Terms and Conditions
- The interns would be assigned tasks/assignments as per the designed research program by the supervisor.
- The selected interns should work accordingly and submit a work report to the supervisor after successful competition of the internship failing which no certificate will be issued.
- The IP rights of the research work will be reserved by the institute which cannot be used by the intern without prior permission from the supervisor.
- The interns will abide by the rules and regulations of the institutions and laboratory protocols.
