About The Program
The CIEL US Legal Internship, Spring 2026 is an opportunity offered by the Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL) for law students at the postgraduate level. The program provides a unique opportunity for law students to enhance their skills in international environmental law and to apply legal strategies aimed at protecting human rights and the environment. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of USD 2,600.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be enrolled in a course of study leading to a postgraduate law degree (JD, LLM) or similar professional qualification for the duration of the internship
- possess experience with international environmental or human rights law, either through graduate-level courses or work experience
- be willing to make a ten-week commitment of 15 hours/week for the internship
