About The Program

Changchun University of Science and Technology (CUST) invites applications from Bachelor's or Master's degree holders for Chinese Government Scholarship, Changchun University of Science and Technology Program 2019​ which is a full scholarship established by MOE to support outstanding international students for studies in China. The selected candidates will receive a scholarship worth up to CNY 3500. The scholarship duration is 2-3 years for Master’s programs and 3-4 years for doctoral programs.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • Be an International student who wishes to study Master's or Doctoral programs
  • Be in good health
  • Be a Bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for Master’s programs
  • Be a Master’s degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for Doctoral programs
  • Not be a registered student in Chinese universities at the time of application

  • Stipend
  • Scholarship of CNY 3,000 for Master’s students and general scholars
  • Scholarship of CNY 3,500 for doctoral students and senior scholars

  • Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship
  • Notarized highest diploma
  • Academic transcripts
  • A Study Plan or Research Proposal
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Foreigner Physical Examination Form
  • HSK certificate (if applicable)

Step 2: Login to fill a new application.
Step 3: Provide personal, academic information etc.
Step 4: Submit the online form.
Step 5: Take a print out of the application and send it to the following address (along with documents):

Terms and Conditions
  • Changchun University of Science and Technology will review the application documents and decide the nominated candidates.
  • Nominated candidates will be officially awarded the Chinese Government Scholarship with the approval from CSC.
  • Students are not permitted to apply to change their specialities or the duration of the study.
  • If the applicants fail to register before the deadline for registration, their scholarship will not be reserved.
  • Scholarship recipients registering before the 15th of the registration month will be granted the full living allowance of that month.
  • Recipients registering after the 15th of the registration month will be granted half of the living allowance of that month.
  • If a registered student stays out of China for more than 15 days, his/her stipend will be stopped during his leaving.
