The applicants will have to go through 2 stages of selection:
Stage 1: This consists of an online MCQ test of 10 marks. On the basis of the marks secured, a total of 210 applicants are selected for the second stage.
Stage 2: The selected candidates have to submit the assigned essays and appear for an offline interview. Based on their performance, a list of 60 selected candidates shall be published.
(Note:- The essay can be in Marathi, Hindi, or English.)

About The Program
The Chief Minister Fellowship (CMF) Program, Maharashtra 2025 is an opportunity provided by the The Government of Maharashtra, India, to graduates between the age of 21 to 26 years. This 12 month internship provides the youth with an opportunity to be a part of the government and help the administration with their innovative ideas. The selected candidates shall receive a monthly stipend of ₹61,500 and a certificate of appreciation.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be between 21 and 26 years on the last date of submission of application (i.e. they must have their birthdate between 05 May 1999 and 05 May 2004)
- be a graduate with a minimum of 60% marks
- possess 1 year full-time work experience (Full-time internship/apprenticeship / articleship shall also be considered as relevant experience).
- be able to read, write, and speak Marathi.
- have sufficient knowledge of Hindi and English.
Benefits
The selected candidates will receive:-
- A monthly stipend of ₹56,100 and travel expenses of ₹5,400 which amounts to ₹61,500 per month.
- Certificate of appreciation.
- Accidental insurance cover during the period of the internship.

- Selected candidates are entitled for 8 days of leave during the period of the internship.
- Travel and other related expenses for the offline interview shall not be reimbursed.
- The date and time of the interview shall be conveyed to the candidates via email.
