About The Program
Chief Minister Fellowship Program 2018 is an initiative of Maharashtra government to engage young graduates from across the nation and to inculcate administrative skills in them by providing an opportunity to work with the Maharashtra government.

The applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this fellowship:
- The applicant must be in the age group of 21 to 26 years, taking 1st April 2018 as a base. (born between 1/4/1992 to 1/4/1997, both dates inclusive)
- The applicant must have passed his/her graduation with first class in any discipline. Any post graduation or professional diploma will be considered as an added advantage.
- The applicant must have work experience of minimum one year. Any full-time internship/articleship/apprenticeship will also be considered as work experience.
- The applicant must have a basic proficiency in Marathi language along with sufficient knowledge of Hindi and English. Basic computer and internet knowledge is also required.
Benefits
- Shortlisted applicants will get the opportunity to work with the Maharashtra government.
- Fellows will be offered a stipend of INR 35,000 and INR 5,000 for travel and related expenses.
- Fellows will be entitled to 10 days of leave during the Fellowship period.
- I-Card and Email ID will be provided for the official purpose during the period of Fellowship.
- Fellows will be regarded as Grade - A officer like that of the government service during the tenure of the Fellowship.
- A certificate will be given to them on successful completion of the Fellowship.
How can you apply?
Step 1: Visit the official website.
Step 2: Click on Apply for CM Fellowship Program 2018
Step 3: Click on Register to get Login/Password. Fill in the details and a login id and password will be generated via SMS or e-mail.
Step 4: Login with the registered login id and click on "proceed" and then click on "Fill Application form" link, fill in all the required details.
Step 5: Make sure to check all the details carefully before completing "self-approval" of the online application because no editing can be done after that.
Step 6: Submit online fee and click on "Fill Application form" tab to get print out for future reference and submit the form.

Selection Criteria
Terms and Conditions
- Fellows will not be able to undertake other employment, assignments or full-time study during the period of the Fellowship.
- The Fellowship is a one-time 11-month program and has no provision of extension.
- There is no assurance of job after completion of the Fellowship.
- Police verification, medical fitness certificate and verification of educational documents will be done at the time of the commencement of the program.
- Fellows will be asked to join office within 60 days after receiving the offer letter, otherwise, the selection will be cancelled.
- Fellows will not be allowed to take part in any political movement during the tenure of the fellowship.
