Centrally Sponsored Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST Students, Himachal Pradesh 2023 is an initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India to provide financial assistance to the ST students of Himachal Pradesh who are pursuing postmatric level of studies. The selected students will receive an academic allowance of up to ₹ 12,000 per annum.

Deadline30-Nov-2023 Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category
- be a permanent resident/domicile of Himachal Pradesh
- be studying at Class 11 to postgraduate level at any recognised institution/university/college
- not be a beneficary of any other scholarship
- have an annual income of less than ₹ 2,50,000
Benefits The selected scholars will receive the benefits in the following manner:

diploma, M.Phil., Ph.D. in professional courses in various stream12,000 5,500 Group 2 - All non-professional recognized courses leading to a graduate, postgraduate degree not covered under Group 1 in Arts, Science and
Commerce such as B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. or M.A./M.Sc./M.Com. etc.8,200 5,300 Group 3 - Vocational stream, ITI courses, 3-year diploma courses in Polytechnics, etc. 5,700 3,000 Group 4 - All post-matriculation level non-degree courses such as Classes 11 and 12 3,800 2,300 Note: The Divyang (disabled) students will recieve an additional amount of ₹ 9,600 annually (for hosteller) and ₹ 7,200 annually (for day scholar).
Documents - Aadhaar card
- Domicile certificate
- Student's passport-size photograph
- Self-attested copy of previous academic marksheet
- Income certificate attested by a revenue officer
- Caste certificate issued by competent authority of State/UT
- Disability certificate (if applicable)
How can you apply? Eligible students can apply for the scholarship through the following steps -
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' link below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to 'Applicant Corner'and click on 'New Registration' tab.
Step 4: Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox and click on the 'Continue' button.
Step 5: Enter mobile number, captcha code, and OTP, then submit.
Step 6: Fill in the required details and click on 'Save & Register' to complete the registration process.
Step 7: Now click on the 'Fresh Application' tab and log in using the application ID and password.
Step 8: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit the application.Note - All the applicants are advised to fill the form correctly, no changes can be made once submitted. The applicants are also advised to fill in only one application as multiple applications will cancel the form.
