CDFD Hyderabad Fellowship in Genetic Diagnostics 2024 is an initiative by the Centre for DNA Fingerprinting And Diagnostics (CDFD), an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, for postgraduate (MD/MS/DNB) degree holders. The program will provide training in cytogenetic and molecular genetic techniques along with an understanding of their applications in patient care. The selected trainees/clinicians from institutes outside Hyderabad will be paid a monthly displacement allowance of ₹30,000.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- hold a Master’s degree in any branch of Science, Technology, or Agriculture or MBBS in a recognised University/Institute
- be qualified for a Junior Research Fellowship from CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR/INSPIRE/JEST/UGC - RGNF or any other similar examination with a fellowship
- Hold a regular position in the Government medical college/hospital
Benefits The selected trainee/clinicians from institutes outside Hyderabad will be paid a

How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:

Step 3: Navigate to the 'Link for the Application Form' link and read all details carefully.
Step 4: Click on the New Registration tab and fill in the required details.
Step 5: Enter the registration ID and password.
Step 6: Download the application form and fill in the details.
Step 7: Send the application form in the prescribed format with self-attested copies of all supporting documents to the address below.

Screening and selection based on scrutiny of Application form and telephonic interview. The commitment to learning and the possibilities of implementation at the workplace will be judged.
