Benefits
- The prizes for semi-finals are as follows:
The 4 teams securing 2nd position in semi-finals will get INR 3000 each.
The 4 teams securing 3rd position in the semi-finals will get INR 1500 each.
The 4 teams securing 4th position in the semi-finals will get INR 1000 each.
- The prizes for finals are as follows:
The winning team of the quiz contest will receive INR 21,000.
The team securing 2nd position will receive INR 12,000.
The team securing 3rd position will receive INR 7500.
The team having secured the 4th position will get INR 4500.
- All the participants of semi-finals and finals will be awarded with certificates.
- Second AC rail fare including reservation charges for the students and their teacher escorts participating in national semi-finals will be reimbursed against photocopies of tickets.
How can you apply?
The interested schools can apply for the contest by following the steps given below:
Step 1: Register by clicking here.
Step 2: Login by using the CBSE affiliation number and school number.
Step 3: Fill in the form.
Step 4: Pay a registration fee of INR 900 through Credit/debit/net banking/ NEFT transfer.
Step 5: Now, submit the form.
Step 6: After the registration of school, three students selected by the school need to register as a team.
Selection Criteria
- The teams will have to appear for an online test in which there will be no negative marking.
- Region-wise merit list will be prepared in which top 2 teams will be selected from each region.
- The teams selected at the regional level will get to participate in national semi-finals which will be conducted in Delhi.
- If the number of teams selected for the national semi-finals is more than 20, then a second round of online test will be conducted.
- 2 teams each from across the 10 competing regions will participate in the semi-finals.
- The 20 teams at the semi-final level will then be divided into 5 groups of 4 teams each.
- The teams that will emerge as winners among these groups will participate for national finals.

- One school can register only one team of three students.
- The date of the online test will be announced once the registration closes.
- The online test will of 50 minutes duration where 60 multiple choice questions will be asked. Among these questions, 25% will be based on the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi.
